THE deadline for nominations to enter the INSPIRE10 Business Awards is just a month away.

Employers, employees, customers and associates have until Friday, September 10 to enter bids for the 12 awards up for grabs.

The aim of the prestigious awards is to give leading local businesses an opportunity to gain the recognition they deserve and pay tribute to the hard work and dedication of their staff.

Councillor Andrew Finney, the leader of Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, which is the lead sponsor for INSPIRE10, said: “I would like to encourage businesses from across the north Hampshire region to enter the Inspire10 Business Awards. “Successful businesses are a vital part of the local economy and the recognition and promotion gained through being short listed for, or winning an award can really make a big difference to your organisation.”

Last year, Southern Communications, headed by chief executive Paul Bradford, won the top accolade, Business of the Year.

Encouraging entries, Paul said: “The INSPIRE awards are fantastic and the local PR you will get is absolutely superb – it really brings up your company profile.”

This year, the business awards gala dinner will be held at a new and impressive warehouse complex on the Hatch Industrial Park, which will be transformed to provide an inspiring setting on Thursday, November 18, when the winners will be announced.

All shortlisted finalists receive two complimentary places at the dinner.
