A NEW business club has been launched by Destination Basingstoke to help local businesses pro mote themselves.
Membership of the club allows those who sign up to obtain graph ics and images that businesses can use freely in any marketing materi al, whether printed or elec tronic.
Felicity Edwards (left), managing director of Destination Basingstoke, said that the not-for profit company, set up to promote Basingstoke as a great place to live, work, visit and do busi ness, is keen for local businesses to use good quality photographs and images of the area in any market ing material they might produce.
She said that through the Business Club, Destination Basingstoke is opening access to its image library for any busi ness or organisa tion to use, as well as encour aging wide use of the Basingstoke & brand.
Felicity said: “Getting the right images for your own marketing material can be expen sive, time-consuming and frustrating, especially if mar keting isn’t really your thing. The Business Club can offer a quick, easy, cost-effective solution.”
Members have access to a range of quality images of the area, including iconic views of the town and countryside, as well as market ing shots featuring local people.
Businesses can also download unlimited copies of the Basingstoke & branded logos and can also have their own ver sion created.
Felicity said: “We hope the Business Club will encourage more businesses to use the Basingstoke & brand – it was created not just for us, but any business or organi sation that can make use of it.”
Membership costs £100 a year, plus VAT, which goes towards maintaining the destination basingstoke.co.uk website, where visitors can sign up for the Business Club or preview some of the images available.
