Telephony trio on the hotline to success...

A PIONEERING telephony company has appointed three new executives as part of its push for continued growth and development.

NewVoiceMedia, which has its head office at Belvedere, on Basing View, Basingstoke, enables businesses to improve the way in which they handle calls at a fraction of the cost of tradi tional technology.

Paul Turner has now joined the firm as chief operations officer. He has pre viously held senior leadership posi tions in the IT and telecommunica tions sector, and brings significant gen eral management, sales, product strate gy and professional services experi ence to support NewVoiceMedia’s ambitious growth plans.

With 17-years of experience in the telecoms industry, sales director Tom Livock has been appointed to drive new business development and manage a growing sales team, as it educates businesses of all sizes about the benefits of cloud-based telephony.

Jessica Strachwitz Hamilton has joined as director of the NewVoiceMedia Foundation. Her task is to establish the charitable entity which aims to donate one per cent of NewVoiceMedia’s equity, products and staff time to worthy causes.

Jonathan Grant, chief executive offi cer, said: “These key appointments reflect the growth plans for NewVoiceMedia as we continue to improve customer service through more flexible telephony solutions.

“Many companies have started to see the benefits of cloud-based IT solu tions, but few realise that similar effi ciencies can be achieved in telephony as well.

“It offers a more flexible and cheaper solution for companies with multiple sites or a remote workforce. It’s also helped many businesses remain up and running in spite of the atrocious weather conditions we’ve recently experienced.

“In addition to our business goals, we want to create a socially responsi ble organisation with involvement from all staff and I am delighted that we have set up the NewVoiceMedia Foundation as a separate entity in this regard.”

Jonathan, who has been successfully driving NewVoiceMedia forward since joining the company around five years ago, said he soon expects to announce impressive end-of-year financial results.

He said: “We’re jolly lucky – we grew by nearly 50 per cent last year in a very tough market. And we’re going to turnover nearly £4m by the end of this week.”

Describing the company as one of the country’s leaders in the new cloud computing revolution, “where busi ness solutions are available at the click of a mouse,” Jonathan believes that just as Google revolutionised the world of advertising and Amazon the world of retail, so NewVoiceMedia is set to change the way contact centres are set up and operated.

“Our telephony solutions are as easy as going on Google or Amazon,”

said Jonathan, who oversaw the com pany move from Laverstoke to Basing View 18 months ago.

He said: “I think when we moved here, we had about 22 people and now we’re nearly 40 – so we’ve seen some really good jobs growth. But we are continually looking for people to join our fabulous business.”

Anyone interested in learning more about the company can attend a free seminar it is holding at the Apollo Hotel on Thursday, February 4, when the NewVoiceMedia Foundation will be officially launched.

Those attending will also learn about how the likes of Berry Bros & Rudd, Kingston University, SHL Group and Thomas Cook have transformed their customer support departments using NewVoiceMedia solutions.

The seminar starts at 4pm. To regis ter for the event you should visit newvoicemedia.com.
