WORK has got underway on building new warehouse space in Houndmills.
Kier Property, the development arm of the Kier Group, has commenced work on site at Logistics City, in Houndmills Industrial Estate, off of Houndmills Road, to bring new warehouse and industrial space.
The new site, developed under Kier Property’s mid-box industrial brand Logistics City will be available to let in quarter one of 2019.
The completed site will house three units of 22,604 sq ft, 36,059 sq ft and 49,514 sq ft, with 28, 49 and 19 car parking spaces respectively.
Pip Prongué, Kier Property’s managing director (South), said: “We are delighted that we have instructed Kier Construction to commence works at Basingstoke. Our industrial brands; Trade City and Logistics City continue to operate and develop on a speculative basis and offer both leasehold and freehold solutions to occupiers.
“We see Basingstoke as a key location that aligns with our strategic growth strategy and we are very pleased to announce works commencing, bringing economic benefits and jobs to the town.”
