POTENTIAL businesses looking to take advantage of a new high-quality office space have been given a virtual walk through of a development in Basingstoke.

Florence Building, in Basing View, is currently under construction and developers Abstract Limited, has unveiled a new fly-through video that provides a preview of the build and showcases Basingstoke as a key business destination in the south east.

As previously reported in The Gazette, the Florence Building was earmarked for The AA to relocate its headquarters there however, the firm made a U-turn on the decision as it was not financial viable for the motoring firm.

The video gives a contemporary overview of Basingstoke as a desirable business destination for potential firms looking to make use of the 60,000 sq ft office development, which is the first new speculative office building in the town for 15 years.

Mark Glatman, chief executive of Abstract, said: “With works now well underway, we are proud to bring The Florence Building to the market at a time when we are seeing occupiers upgrade their accommodation to the highest specification to attract and retain the best staff.

“Our development offers ‘uncompromising value’ and is the first new-build office in the town in 15 years.”

“The building will deliver a high quality Grade A specification with top environmental credentials targeting a BREEAM excellent and an EPC A rating.

“A tight design and procurement process will offer occupiers the lowest cost per workstation of any new build office in the South East.”

The site is just an eight-minute walk to the station and just a five-minute walk to leisure amenities.
