A RETAIL company which has a store in Basingstoke has announced the expansion of a cycling concept which will be rolled out to 43 branches across the UK.
GO Outdoors will open a cycling department at its store off Reading Road, near Chineham which will be staffed by a knowledgeable team of cycling enthusiasts who will help customers find the right bike and equipment.
The new expansion is set to create 120 jobs across the UK.
The Basingstoke store will have the biggest selection of cycling equipment and bikes available across the county.
Barry Dunn, head of cycling, said: "Thanks to this increased investment into cycling, we'll have the opportunity to bring expertise, passion and, most importantly fantastic cycling equipment."
He added: "The product offering in GO Outdoors at Basingstoke is set to equip Basingstoke locals with all the cycling equipment they could possibly desire."
