PREMIER INN has opened its 81-bedroom hotel in Basingstoke’s Top of The Town today.
The brand new property in Victoria Street, owned by Whitbread plc is expected to contribute more than £5million to the local economy, whilst providing 29 jobs.
The hotel includes a restaurant, offering a breakfast, snack and dinner menu for guests.
Helen McDonald, new openings manager for Premier Inn, said: “We are thrilled to be opening a new hotel in Basingstoke situated right in the centre of town, offering a comfortable base for visitors to explore all Basingstoke has to offer.
"We will be offering brand-new, modern accommodation with our luxurious Hypnos beds at an affordable price, which we hope will encourage visitors to the town and help bring tourist and retail trade into the area.
“Our guests will experience the high standards you can expect of every Premier Inn in a fantastic location with a wide choice of shops, restaurants and cultural events within easy walking distance.”
