PURPLE Agency’s marketing-leading data expertise has once more been highlighted this time by the 2015 RAR – Recommended Agency Register – Awards.

The Basingstoke firm, based at One Faraday Office Park, in Basingstoke, has gained a finalist place in this year’s awards for its work in the Customer Relationship Management/Data category.

Unlike other awards, the RARs are based entirely on performance ratings and references from client companies, with over 32,000 ratings assessed and compiled before the winners are announced. The Purple Agency has also won finalist places in both the On Budget and Value for Money categories.

The RAR finalist place tops a winning run of recent data awards success for Purple.

It was the only agency to win two categories outright at the Database Marketing Awards in 2013 – winning for work on behalf of Euromoney and Save the Children, and in 2014 picked up a finalist place for work on behalf of AGA Rangemaster.

Earlier this year the agency was also one of the first agencies in 2015 to gain Designer Accreditation from the UK’s leading supplier of data analysis software, Apteco.

The accreditation independently certifies the agency’s expertise in designing and deploying FastStats Enterprise analytics and marketing solutions on client, bureau and cloud infrastructures. Data and planning director Andrew Woodger, said: “We’re a very data and CRM focused agency, with a highly experienced data team, many of whom are experts in their fields.

“It’s one thing to bang your own drum about how brilliant you are, but to have your own clients bang it for you – and so very publicly in the case of the RAR Awards – is a real honour. This finalist placing, coming as it does after a long run of data-based success stories, is just one more positive indication of Purple’s position as one of the UK’s most innovative players in the data sector.”
