ALL Our Own Crafts has popped-up again in Festival Place.

The pop-up shop has re-opened, this time opposite the Laura Ashley store.

Back in October last year, the business venture opened for three months, giving local crafters an opportunity to sell their crafts in the busy shopping centre, in a unit opposite TK Maxx.

The shop, which showcases the work of 40 crafters, has been granted the use of the unit by Festival Place shopping centre for two months.

Tracy Braybrook, who organised the project with Kate Donohoe, said: “We are very grateful to Festival Place for allowing us to open a new unit and are glad to have the opportunity to be bigger and better than before. It’s always exciting to see shopper’s reactions when they realise that all our products are handcrafted by local people. It’s amazing to have the opportunity to showcase the talent of the borough in such a great location.”

Delighted with the grand opening on Saturday, Kate said: “Our first week has been better than we expected. We’ve had a lot of people who knew us at our previous shop and a lot of new customers too – it’s been a good start.”

Kate said the taster demonstrations and workshops were popular, giving customers a chance to try their hand at a new craft.
