BLUEBIRD Care celebrated the success of its care workers at an awards ceremony.

Nineteen colleagues from the home care company received their awards which included Health & Social Care diploma at Level 2 and Level 3, Specialist Award in Dementia Care at Level 2, Specialist Award in End of Life Care at Level 2 and Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS).

They were presented at Elizabeth Hall, close to the firm’s London Road offices in Hook.

Care manager Laura Campbell said: “We’re so delighted to be able to recognise the hard work of our staff who have studied hard for these qualifications, often in their own time, so that our customers can benefit from having well trained, skilled and committed staff delivering care and support in their own homes.

“Our aim at Bluebird Care is to provide the highest standards of care for our customers.

“We treat everyone with respect, warmth and compassion, providing the level of care we would want our own family members or friends to receive.”

The firm has more than 50 staff working across Basingstoke and Deane and Hart local authority areas, providing care at home to older people and people with a physical or learning disability, many of whom have been studying hard over the last year to obtain a variety of health and social care qualifications.
