THE Purple Agency has announced the appointment of a creative director.

James Mayfield joins the agency – recently ranked as one of the top three in the south east of England – from London-based agency Stack, where he was creative group head.

Delighted with his appointment at the firm, based at One Faraday Office Park, in Basingstoke, James said: “In just five years The Purple Agency has grown into a highly respected and award- winning customer experience agency – and with an impressive and rapidly growing list of clients – both in the UK and abroad.

“It’s an enviable portfolio, and one I’m looking forward to both working with and expanding yet further.”

Head of agency, Steve Shaw said: “James brings a considerable and impressive range of experience to Purple.”

The agency has also appointed a new digital planner, Samantha Alderman. She joins Purple from PHD where she was social response director.

Samantha said: “Social and digital media are now an essential and established part of the media mix. What clients want is innovative ways to utilize these in order to enhance the customer experience.”

The Purple Agency’s clients include IBM, ABTA, Honeywell, Pfizer, the British Paralympic Association, and UK Sport.
