TONIGHT will see the very best of north Hampshire’s businesses honoured at the INSPIRE14 Business Awards.

The glittering gala dinner will take place at De Vere Venues Highfield Park, in Heckfield, near Hook, where 600 guests are expected to attend.

Organised by Destination Basingstoke, INSPIRE14 will celebrate the success and achievement of businesses from Andover in the west, through to Aldershot in the east.

Yet again, one of this year’s main supporters is Hampshire building firm Wilding Butler, sponsoring the Business of the Year category – one of 13 awards on offer.

Managing director Phil Wilding, who is also chairman of the INSPIRE Business Awards steering group, said: “The fact that INSPIRE gets bigger and bigger, with more and more people attending, is a demonstration of its success. People enjoy coming because it’s a great event.”

During the event, The Pink Place, a Basingstoke charity that supports breast cancer patients, will be selling balloons with prices from £10 to guests, containing mystery prizes worth at least double their price tag.

Last year, Janis Taylor, founder of The Pink Place, won Business in the Community Award at INSPIRE13, for her business Taylor’s Hair & Beauty.
