A NORTH Hampshire gallery achieved record sales of more than £100,000 when it exhibited work by international wildlife artist Pip McGarry.

Jan Baker and her team at The Frame, in the High Street, Odiham, were delighted that the exhibition attracted new and returning customers.

Jan said the artist’s oil paintings of African big cats and game attract interest from all over the world, making him one of the most popular international wildlife artists.

She said: “The exhibition at The Frame is Pip’s second most successful solo exhibition to reach six figure sales – an astonishing result for a small, rural gallery.

“To achieve a record-breaking success at a small gallery outside London is, as Pip puts it, ‘truly extraordinary’.”

Pip said: “If you have galleries who have a professional approach, look after their customers, and work with like-minded and successful artists, anything can be achieved.”
