LEADING international mergers and acquisition specialist BCMS has appointed a chief executive officer.

Steve Dally’s position is a new role in the company that specialises in selling privately-owned businesses, headquartered in Kingsclere.

Cambridge-educated, Mr Dally has an impressive career record at director-level at a number of blue chip organisations, including Anker International and Mondi Business Paper, where he was managing director.

Previously he enjoyed a 20-year career at US conglomerate 3M, where he held a variety of senior roles.

He brings particular expertise in operational excellence, innovation, new product development and strong brand management.

Prior to his appointment, Mr Dally had been working part-time as a senior business consultant to BCMS since late 2013, working alongside the executive board.

First established in 1989 by the Rebbettes family, BCMS is a market-leading advisor to shareholders of privately-owned businesses.

The company has advised on over 500 successful business sales transactions in the last 10 years.

Mr Dally arrives in BCMS’ 25th year, and his principal remit as chief executive officer is to build on its track record and drive future growth.

Mr Dally said: “BCMS is a family business with a global presence, and I am delighted to be joining at this historic time for the company.

“As a market-leading advisor by deal volume, we have a notable past, but an even brighter future.

“Among my first tasks is to improve our brand presence and drive profitability through a number of initiatives.

“At BCMS, our people are the difference. I am looking to provide the leadership that will make this great business even better.”
