SMITHIE LED – Electrical & Lighting appliance Depot officially opens its doors on Bank Holiday Monday.

Shane and Adele Hilden, owners and direc-tors of Smithie UK, are proud to re-launch their LED store, located in Morse Road, on West Ham Industrial Estate.

As well as offering energy-saving LED lights, they are now on a money-saving mission with their impressive array of top brand competitively-priced electrical appliances on offer in the brand-new lighting and electronic appliance depot.

Upon entering the store, customers can immediately touch, feel and experience Smithie’s range of TVs, audio systems, gadgets and household appliances, such as kettles, coffee machines, blenders and vacuum cleaners.

As all stock is price-checked with online retailers, customers can be sure to get their hands on competitively priced appliances for their home. In addition, all stock is ready to take away.

Monday will certainly be a special day for Shane, who is managing director of Smithie UK, which is a successful award-winning IT distribution firm.

He said: “Smithie UK has been established for over 10 years in Basingstoke, and as such, we have forged really strong relationships with top-named manufacturers such as Samsung and Panasonic.

“As we are able to buy direct from them, we have quite a big advantage, which is how we can offer the low prices you would only expect to see on the internet.

“For me, the experience of being able to see before you buy, and speak to members of staff who can assist you with purchase decision, is invaluable.”

While at the depot, why not ask about the energy-saving and long-term benefits of installing LED lighting in your home and office.

The Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane Councillor Dan Putty will be attending the grand opening on Monday, May 5 at 11am. There, he will see staff demonstrating the vast range of audio systems and TVs.

There will be tablets, gaming gear and smaller appliances on display in addition to a range of white goods such as washing machines, fridges, cookers and hobs.

There will be plenty of little freebies on offer too such as pens and mugs, plus a free portable speaker for all purchases made on the grand opening day.

As part of the celebrations at the new Electrical & Lighting appliance Depot, there is a prize draw, running until the end of May, and one lucky punter will win a 42-inch TV worth £500.
