GOOD news for savvy shoppers in Basingstoke as another new store is set to open.
Discount retailer Poundstretcher is opening a new store on Hatch Warren Retail Park on Friday January 17.
The doors open at 9am when Basingstoke and Deane Mayor Councillor Dan Putty will do the honours opening the 5,400sq ft store, where 14 new jobs have been created.
The shop unit was previously used by Blockbuster.
And the first 50 customers on the day will each receive a free £10 voucher to spend in the store.
On offer will be homewares such as bedding, quilts and pillows and curtains as well as kitchen and bathroom products, along with everyday items such as food, toiletries, and household goods.
Poundstretcher area manager Jed Rose, said: “We’re delighted to open this store. I’m sure shoppers will be amazed not only by the vast range of products that we sell but also our low prices, you are sure to find a bargain. I’d like to welcome everyone to come into the store and experience our low prices for themselves.”
