The INSPIRE13 finalist have been revealed
THE judges have made their decisions and now the Inspire Business Awards 2013 finalists can be revealed.
Three finalists in each category have been selected, and now the judges will be visiting them over the next few weeks before deciding on who the winners and runners-up will be.
Among those involved in the judging is John Wilkinson, area commercial director, for HSBC Basingstoke & Thames Valley Commercial Centre.
Mr Wilkinson is delighted that once again HSBC is supporting the event, by sponsoring the Exporter of the Year Award – one of the 13 categories.
He said: “International trade is at the heart of HSBC. As a bank formed to facilitate international trade between Hong Kong and the rest of the world, it is built into our heritage, and it forms a key part of our ethos today.
“That is why we are delighted to sponsoring the Exporter of the Year Award, which recognises and acknowledges the efforts of forward-thinking individuals and companies that boost the region’s economy by taking advantage of global opportunities to take their products or services to new markets.”
Mr Wilkinson and fellow judges will be among 500 guests who will attend the awards dinner being held on November 21 at The Hampshire Court Hotel.
Felicity Edwards, managing director of event organisers Destination Basingstoke, said: “We look forward to an evening of celebration with the region’s most successful businesses.
“Those shortlisted are all very strong candidates and should be proud to be selected as finalists – congratulations to them all.”
Felicity added: “The prestigious awards ceremony will be a fantastic and well deserved celebration of business achievements.”
Tables and tickets for the gala night are on sale now, although those interested in attending are being advised to decide quickly as places are limited.
