MEMBERS of the Women In Business Group could not let their 20th anniversary pass without a celebration.

And that is certainly what happened at The Elvetham hotel, in Hartley Wintney, where champagne flowed as WIBG members networked and caught up with each other’s business news.

They also tucked into a delicious two-course meal and raised money for the networking group’s chosen charity of the year HantsAbility.

Committee member Julie Latcham, from Lamb Brooks solicitors, said: “Our motto is ‘Women who talk together do business together,’ and it really is true. “Our monthly meetings are a friendly way for like-minded businesswomen to discuss matters and gain support from each other whilst having fun and learning something from our variety of speakers. “In recent months, we’ve heard from the founder of Rock Choir, and next month our guest speaker set up a jam-making company.

“By joining, our members get subsidised rates for events, and by signing up to our newsletters anyone can find out what we’re up to and how they can join in.”

The networking group is next set to meet at The Ark Conference Centre starting at 6pm on Thursday, October 25, when Tessa Smith, the founder of The Chilli Jam Company, will be talking about the challenges of setting up and growing her business. To book a place, visit wibg.org.uk.
