HOLLY: The annual Holly Market took place in Sherfield Village Hall last Saturday, and was well attended with a record number of visitors (450) coming to browse the stalls despite the drizzly day.

THE 25th Macmillan Coffee Morning, the world’s biggest such event, which raises money to fund nurses and other staff to provide help to cancer patients and their families/carers is being held today.
GARDENING Club: Sherfield and District Gardening Club meet on Monday, in the village hall at 7.45pm. The speaker for the evening is Stephen Austin, who will be talking about the Beth Chatto Gardens. Stephen is product manager at Hillier Nurseries but he previously worked at Beth Chatto Gardens. For arrangements, please call Vanessa on 881760.
