Residence offers a village atmosphere

THE award-winning Topiary development built by Balfour Beatty in the late 1980s has a four-bedroomed house for sale.

The development includes a pond to give it a village atmosphere in the residential area of Lychpit, Basingstoke, and the designs even include a couple of thatched properties.

The house (pictured right), on the market with estate agent Poulters, is priced at £309,950 and stands on a corner plot in a lightly wooded setting in Beddington Court.

Its accommodation extends to four bedrooms, one with an en suite shower room, and a family bathroom.

An Oriel bay window gives design interest to the lounge, which has double doors through to the dining room where patio doors slide back to the garden.

Shaker-style units have been fitted in the kitchen and the integrated appliances include an oven and hob, microwave and fridge.

The cloakroom has been adapted to be a utility room, but it could be reinstated.

The house has an attached single garage with eaves storage.
