THIEVES targeted a Ramsdell farm, stealing scaffolding equipment, fencing and bales of hay totalling thousands of pounds.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and information after the theft, which happened overnight from Wednesday, July 30, into Thursday, July 31.
Unknown offenders entered outbuildings at Lower Farm in Ramsdell and stole green galvanised palisade fencing valued at about £2,500 and bales of hay.
PC Jon Hayes said: “These items are extremely bulky and heavy and would have required appropriate vehicles to take them away.
“This is quite a remote rural location. Did you see anything suspicious or have you been offered these items for sale?”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Hayes at Whitchurch Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
