Naomi House and Jacksplace have unveiled plans for the 18th annual Clarendon Way Walk, happening June 2.

The local hospices for children and young adults will once again lead the walk in the countryside between Winchester and Salisbury, in a bid to raise crucial funds.

Participants can select to cover one of three distances - 26, 12, or five miles, along the historic Clarendon Way route. Frequent pitstops will offer participants refreshments and toilet breaks as well as encouragement.

This year, previous year’s T-shirt stock will be used, in an effort to minimise the charity's carbon footprint. The walk helps sustain the hospices' support for local children and young adults, and families during challenging times.

Charlotte Patrick, events team leader at Naomi House and Jacksplace said: "We are so excited to be back with our Clarendon Way Walk. It is such a great day and we are always blown away by the dedication from our supporters to push themselves with their walk and fundraising.

"This is our biggest event of the year and the money raised from the walk helps us to provide outstanding nursing care for seriously ill children and young adults. Don’t miss out on your chance to make every step count and sign up today!"

The event is suitable for all abilities and ages from five-years-old.
