A DRINK driver who took to the roads in Basingstoke has been disqualified and fined hundreds of pounds.
Kevin Jones, 58, of Oldberg Gardens in Basingstoke, pleaded guilty to driving a black Range Rover on Grove Road on January 17, while exceeding the prescribed drink driving limit.

He had 169micrograms of alcohol in 100millilitres of blood - the legal limit is 80.
On Thursday, April 25, Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court fined him £717 for the offence.
He is also disqualified from driving for 19 months. He must pay 85 as costs to crown prosecution service and £287 as a surcharge.
