HAMPSHIRE Harmony recently held a sell-out Christmas event at St Michael's Church in Basingstoke.
The Christmas concert, which was held on Saturday, December 2, was well attended including by MP Maria Miller and Mayor Cllr David Leeks.
It was the choir's first Christmas concert since 2019, and also its first festive concert under the wing of new musical director Clare Oliver.
Clare took on the role on March 6, 2023, after the group had a period without a musical director.
Pianist Jonathan Hedgecock had taken to the helm in the meantime and carried on teaching new numbers and keeping the group up to standard.

A spokesperson for the choir said: "Everyone worked really hard to put on a performance for the community, and we had a fantastic time and hope everyone who attended also had a great time. We always have a lot of fun and are always on the lookout for new members.
"If this sounds like something that would interest anyone, please do get in touch and we hope to see you in 2024."
The year 2024 will mark the choir's 60th year in operation - it had formerly been named Basingstoke Ladies Choir before changing to Hampshire Harmony.
