RESIDENTS at a care home in South View were treated to a special performance by the Basingstoke Male Voice Choir.
The activities team at St Thomas Care Home, in St Thomas Close, reached out to the choir asking if they could sing for the residents.
The team were “absolutely thrilled” when the choir agreed to the performance and visited on Tuesday, November 14, performing in the home’s chapel.

The songs that were sung were a mix of Elvis to Christmas songs, and “the residents absolutely loved every minute of it”.
Home manager Maggie Zbroch said: “Basingstoke Male Voice Choir were absolutely phenomenal, our residents thoroughly enjoyed every moment, we would love for them to come back to St Thomas in the future.
“To see our residents' faces light up and for our residents to get involved was just beautiful to see, thank you Basingstoke Male Voice Choir for coming to our home.”
